Estate planning documents known in the United States as trusts, wills and powers of attorney entail “fiduciary” and “testamentary” documents. In Brazil, country of origin of the principal attorney of Trust Brasil, those are known as successory documents governed by the Civil law.
The services provided by our office, including preparation and administration of estate planning related documents, and the name Trust Brasil (yes, with an “S”) arose from our need to serve our large Brazilian community in California. We certainly welcome all nationalities. While our office was thought for Brazilians, that is just our special addition.
The initial impulse to create this professional law corporation arose from a practical observation that Portuguese speaking professionals dedicated to this field of law specifically are urgently needed to serve with personalized care, preferably in Brazilian Portuguese, our huge community.
Brazilians deserve and need to have access to quality estate planning and administration counseling provided by responsible and caring professionals who are able to convey trust (in Portuguese, confiança).

By booking an appointment, you can benefit from one first call free of charge (up to 30 minutes)* in which you can briefly present your family composition, property structure, and talk about your goals for planning. We will respond with pertinent information to your reality in case your interest is aligned with Trust Brasil’s bandwidth to prepare and/or administer your documents and represent you in probate court if necessary. That means that there is no loss from having this initial call, even if you decide to follow a different alternative after we talk. Only benefits.

The face of our firm is Drielle Bennett - idealizer and founder of Trust Brasil, A Professional Law Corporation based in California.
Drielle is licensed both in the capital of Brazil, and in California, and accumulates over 10 years of legal and administrative experience not only in the Probate related field. Besides serving all clients with estate planning and trust administration, her goal with opening Trust Brasil is to educate the Brazilian community in California about the importance of having a plan while living the expatriate life.
